Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our priority. Discover how we protect your inputs with 100% client-side technologies.

Effective Date: May 23, 2026

At TubeMeta, we respect your personal space and privacy. This Privacy Policy details our technical structure and informs you about the minimal interactions between our tool, external APIs, and your local device.

1. 100% Serverless Environment

TubeMeta is a statically hosted, single-page application. We do not maintain any web servers, user database clusters, or analytical tracking logs. When you input a YouTube link, the data is processed solely by your browser. We never compile, transmit, or monetize your search queries.

2. Official oEmbed API Invocations

To fetch public video metadata (such as titles, author names, and thumbnail links), TubeMeta triggers a standard request from your browser directly to YouTube's public oEmbed API endpoint: https://www.youtube.com/oembed?url={videoUrl}&format=json.

This request is executed directly between your device's browser and YouTube's network. Consequently, your interactions are subject to Google's standard Privacy Policy and terms. No intermediate servers route or access these requests.

3. Local Storage for Quick History

We offer a "Recent Analysis History" feature. To provide this utility without a user sign-up or backend database, we store the metadata of your last 15 analyzed videos in your browser's localStorage object.

4. No Media Downloads Offered

TubeMeta does not extract, download, scrape, or stream YouTube videos or audios. We only fetch public metadata and standard, static thumbnail files hosted on official YouTube CDN servers (such as img.youtube.com).

5. Cookies and Advertisement Frameworks

TubeMeta integrates standard, non-intrusive HTML comment placements to accommodate monetization networks like Google AdSense (e.g., <!-- ADSENSE_ZONE_TOP -->).

Monetization services and Google Analytics partners may set tracking cookies on your device to display contextual advertisements and compile aggregate traffic patterns. You can disable cookie preferences in your browser configurations or utilize private windows to prevent tracker caching.

6. Modifications and contact

We may update this policy periodically to align with evolving browser sandboxing features and Google API guidelines. If you have questions regarding our browser-native operations, please reach out to privacy@tubemeta.example.com.
