Our Mission
TubeMeta is a high-performance utility designed to help content creators, video editors, and media researchers inspect public video metadata and download YouTube thumbnail images at various resolutions. Our goal is to make digital research and visual creation as efficient as possible.
100% Client-Side Architecture
Unlike other tools that route requests through external servers, TubeMeta is built on a 100% client-side framework. Everything runs locally in your web browser:
- No Server: We do not operate databases or backend processors, ensuring zero server costs and permanent free access.
- No API Keys: You do not need to register a Google Developer account or provision expensive cloud credentials.
- Privacy Safeguarded: Your search URLs, analyzed history, and downloaded thumbnails are processed completely in your local browser sandbox.
Official oEmbed Integration
TubeMeta queries YouTube's official, CORS-compliant oEmbed API endpoint to securely obtain standard video titles, publisher details, and base configurations. We strictly adhere to Google API Guidelines and never engage in aggressive web scraping, video bypassing, or content downloads. All retrieved data is public, non-authenticated information.
